Windows Dock

This is pretty cool. Follow these instructions to make your very own dock on a PC (tried and tested on XP Home).

1. Unlock the Taskbar (right click, and uncheck 'lock the taskbar')

2. Turn on Quick Launch (right click, properties, and check 'Show Quick Launch' OR right click, toolbars, and check Quick Launch)

3. Drag your taskbar so it's double thickness than normal. Drag the Quick Launch buttons down on to the second row.

4. Drag the Quick Launch separator the whole length of the taskbar. Right click on Quick Launch, and select 'View', and then 'Large Icons'.

5. Finally, drag all of your regularly used program icons on to your new chunky Quick Launch. You can now click them and use them, effectively, as a quick and easy Mac OS X dock clone!
