iPod Update!

To my delight, I have found they have lowered the prices and updated some of the incredible iPods.

The second generation iPod mini lineup features a 4GB model priced at £139 and a new 6GB model priced at £169. Both iPod mini models feature increased battery life of up to 18 hours, USB charging and an ultra-portable, lightweight design available in four vibrant colours.

Apple has also updated its iPod photo lineup by introducing a new slim 30GB model, which holds up to 7,500 songs, for £249 and a new 60GB model, which holds up to 15,000 songs, for £309. Both models hold up to 25,000 digital photos and let you import photos from your digital camera via the new iPod Camera Connector for instant viewing and slideshow playback.

No change in price for the lovely U2 iPod or iPod shuffle ( which is really cheap anyway). But there is a small price to pay; there is no Firewire cable shipping with iPods anymore [read more].

This is great for me as it comes right near my birthday, so if anyone else has ever wanted an iPod, it is easier to get one than ever.
