Gigapixel pics!

There are some really amazing gigapixel pictures over at the Gigapxl Project [sic]. Since displaying the full uncompressed images on their site wouldn't make sense (each image is probably a few hundred megabytes), they instead take steps in zooming in on the picture, sometimes ending up with displaying only .05% of the original image. However even at such a small fraction of the original, what's amazing is that the picture is not blurry or pixelated very much at that level. All of the pictures in the gallery are absolutely gorgeous.
